"How Clutter Costs You Money"

I came across this interesting article, "How Clutter Costs You Money".  This was published by Vanquard, an investment management company.

Belongings are unnecessary costs when we buy duplicates, purchase items we rarely if ever use.  They devalue our home, cost us late fees, and eat up our time looking for misplaced items.  See the entire article at:  https://retirementplans.vanguard.com/VGApp/pe/pubnews/clutter.jsf

The fact that an investment company has the same views as professional organizers about all the "stuff" we collect is affirming.

Thanks for all your Shoe Donations!

Thanks to all of you, I was able to collect 280 pairs of shoes to donate to those in need in Haiti. Bev, from Kenosha, was my biggest contributor donating 27 pair of shoes. As a special thanks, she will receive 2 hours of organizing services.

I was collecting shoes in conjunction with NAPO (National Association of Professional Organizer). Our organization, to date, has collected over 260,000 pairs of shoes!

The majority of Haitians live in extreme poverty. Shoes not only help prevent the spread of disease, they also provide the person the chance to hold a job or attend school. (Yes, even children can be barred from attending school if they don't have shoes.) Thanks again for helping to provide opportunities for Haitians to better their lives!
